adventurous wild & free couples session

Okay okay...  This gallery.  Makes me so SO excited!!

As a photographer I’m constantly inspired by other’s work and am always trying to come up with new ways to create a unique gallery that tells stories in less mainstream ways!  Even though I do love a couple in flower fields, urban settings or in the places they feel most comfortable, I’m always most inspired by the couples who keep their sessions unapologetically authentic to who they are as people and a couple. 

So that said, let me tell you a little more about this.  Justyn is actually a friend of mine - my personal trainer; and during one of our training sessions,  he had mentioned he owns a Harley. Now between the heavy deadlifts that I was dying doing, I had an idea that was too perfect an opportunity to not jump on, asked Justyn if he and his girlfriend could model for me with the Harley! It’s been a dream of mine to do a shoot like this, so I was over the moon excited when he said yes! 

My idea here was that I wanted to create something special and completely unique to them and their narrative. Something that felt authentic and genuine, and maybe would even force me out of my own comfort zone a little! Having done similar sessions to this, like the iconic Kodiak and Madi engagements, I’ve learned that this is where the most organic content stems, and wanted to give this another try! AND MAN OH MAN, did this gallery show up and go past all my expectations!  

So as you scroll through, I hope you get a good feel for how adventurous Justyn and Emily are, how comfortable they are with each other and how much fun they are! And that when you’re ready to take some photos, you remember how being unapologetically you can make you iconic.
