meet the gal behind the camera

I'm Anastasiya but all my friends call me Annie, and i’d love it if you do too!

I am a wedding & elopement photographer based in the Pacific Northwest & it’s no secret that I love to travel! I’m a singer/songwriter, coffee lover, dream chaser, adventure seeker, road-tripper, and I love Jesus with my whole heart. Jesus is my everything, and without Him, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am blessed to be able to serve Him and others through this talent that God has blessed me with.

I am inspired by photos that are filled with emotion. Those kind of photos that you can look back upon and feel all the feelings that you felt in that very moment. That's my goal; to capture the real, messy, fun, sweet, and unposed moments that are authentic and genuine. The kind of photos that will make you feel, and take you back into that very moment. I want to capture this new adventure that your about to embark on. This story that you are both writing together. Let me capture it beautifully.

My promise to you: I’m here for you, your day, your moments, your love. I'm here to document your love and to tell your story and I promise i'll photograph each moment as if it were my own.

Tell me your story, and let’s create something beautiful together.

a bit about me

Some of my favorite things to do include spending time in God’s word and praising Jesus. I love waking up before the sun, climbing up a mountains and watching the world slowly wake up and seeing the morning golden colors paint the sky just for a few moments before it disappears. I love driving down to the coast, or anywhere really, and catching the last bit of light before it hides behind the horizon. I love going to coffee shops with friends, spending every second I get with my family, and going on long road trips. Those are just a few things that make my heart happiest.

Photography has always been a part of me. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for taking pictures. Always be running around with my little camera in hand taking pictures of everything and everyone that I can. It all started with a small digital camera I got for my birthday one year. I would always use my parent’s camera and I remember dreaming my very own… and I finally got it! I still recall the feeling of excitement that I had as soon as I saw what was wrapped under the silver wrapping paper. To this day, even though I now have a much more professional camera, I still have that one and will keep it forever – it's a classic!

“ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people.”

Colossians 3:23 (GNT)
