adventurous engagement at Mt. Hood Oregon

Hey hi hello my friends!

It’s been a minute I know, but today I wanted to share with you Adam and Andrea’s Mt. Hood and Trillium Lake Engagement session from a few weeks ago! These two met on Hinge and while dating apps aren’t for the faint of heart, their story is one that had me thinking that fate really does have a role to play…

Andrea told me how she had moved up to Seattle from her SoCal hometown for a job and like any single gal, she started using the apps to get out there and meet people- which is where she met Adam.

But the best part is when she stumbled across his profile, he wasn’t the one on the first picture to catch her attention. It was his two friends who were smiling next to him- and that’s because they were the boys who grew up a few doors down from her back in California!

After doing some detective work with her sister, Andrea finally responded to Adam’s opening question of “what are you passionate about?” and the pair never really stopped chatting.

What I love so much about their story is that while they kept missing each other almost all of their lives (her parents and sister had even met him before she did!) they both knew that had they met earlier, they wouldn’t have been in a place where it would’ve worked out like it has.

Which is one of the most beautiful parts about their story.

Even now, knowing that "their person" was silently integrated in their lives they had to go about doing the things they wanted to in life as individuals before they could come together and start building a life.

Anyways I know that all sounds a little sappy, but I hope you see just how much love is between Adam and Andrea as you scroll through! And that we can acknowledge just how amazing the cozy, fall vibes were at this lakeside session!
