Seattle Downtown Engagement | Luke + Jenna

Seattle, Washington

romantic, classy and modern downtown engagement session

Hi there! Luke & Jenna’s downtown engagement session is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorites because it’s a unique take on some very close to home inspiration!  Jenna reached out after seeing Madison & Kodiak’s engagement session I shared on Pinterest a few months ago and wanted to take a crack at her own romantic, downtown, running-down-the-street-madly-in-love type session. I loved that she wanted to recreate a session I love so much with her own flair, and I absolutely loved that their love story tied into their engagement shoot….

Jenna and Luke met while they were both studying at Cal Poly SLO and according to Jenna, once she heard Luke’s Parisian accent it was a done deal!  While the pair eloped in Palm Springs during the pandemic, and still have their big day planned for Paris 2022, Jenna and Luke wanted to take engagement photos that would match the Parisian vibes….and what better place than Seattle?  And man did this session stand out!  Jenna and Luke absolutely slayed the camera and simply spent the time enjoying being together, being goofy and dancing in the middle of the session! What more could you ask for?!

Wow.  Wow wow wow! THIS SHOOT! Luke and Jenna completely knocked any expectations I had of their Downtown Seattle engagement session OUT OF THE PARK! I’m still floored by these photos you guys!! Before the session started I knew this was going to be good because Jenna is a photographer as well, and by nature of the trade, I knew there would be more freedom allowed for my creative eye. In this session I had the opportunity to try new techniques and ideas like blurr and flash that I think really elevated the old school glamor Jenna was looking for!  Oof! I just can’t get enough of these two!

Also be sure to go check out Jenna’s photography page too! She’s a senior photographer in Orange County and her work is absolutely stunning!!

Yours,

Annie!
