A cool fun fact about me is that I got to live in Hawaii for a year when I was on younger. Ever since moving back I would go and visit the islands every year until Covid hit. So this year in March, I FINALLY got to go back to the place where my heart belongs. Literally nothing compares to Hawaii... & if you haven’t been, you must go and see for yourself! You’ll understand what I mean haha. I lived on the big island and always went there to visit, but this time I decided to explore a different island and go to Oahu!

Since I was going to be on Oahu, I knew I HAD to a plan the shoot of my dreams, something I’ve been dying to shoot for the longest time ever but never had the opportunity to make it happen. Well now was my perfect chance! After some Instagram digging I found the perfect couple: Evan and Gabby, who just happened to be surfers - I was beyond ecstatic when they were down to make my vision for this shoot come to life!

Our original spot that was on the other side of the island decided to have a rainstorm so we chose a different spot: Sunset Beach on the North Shore, one of their favorite spots to surf at! The water actually ended up being perfectly calm for us which was pretty unusual for this beach but worked out in our favor because we ended up getting into the water and got some cute shots of Gabby & Evan on their surfboards.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple or the prettiest sunset! This shoot exceeded all my expectations and more. The photos turned out better than I envisioned them to be and now are my favorite photos to date haha!
