Mt. St. Helens Intimate Elopement | Caleb + Jestina

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of heading to one of my absolute favorite spots near Mt. St. Helens for one of the most intimate elopements I’ve witnessed in a long time. Not only was the backdrop to this elopement so peaceful, quiet and romantic, it was commanding too! Just look at those mountains!

When I was getting to know Jestina and Caleb, one thing that stood out to me was how Jestina described her meeting Caleb.“Meeting him was like when that loud THX movie sound starts playing and I completely lost my train of thought.” Which is pretty fitting for how I felt when I started shooting!

The ceremony was set alongside a river bank surrounded by friends, family and even a few elk as the sun set. Everything was just like them, slow, simple and sweet. But of course like a good wedding, that beautiful, intimate moment was followed up with popped champagne, pizza and of course cake, as they took in the mountain views and danced under the stars… It was magical!
