I have to say, this gorgeous venue is one my top favorites here in the Pacific Northwest. Located on the border of Washington and Oregon with breathtaking panoramic views of the Columbia River and Hood River Valley. It’s stunning! I was sooo excited when Sally & Peter reached out wanting me to be apart of their wedding!!

Sally met Peter at a college house party, neither one of them expected to meet someone who they’d “hit it off with right from the get-go” or would end up doing long distance with that person for almost 2 years. But sometimes that’s life I guess!! Once school ended for them (they both went to MIT!) Sally decided to stay in Boston while Peter moved to Seattle for a job. And like all good things, Sally eventually decided that it was time to give things an honest shot and move to Seattle to be with him! And as she said, she’s never looked back! They moved in together, adopted their pup Keeper and took the weekends to explore their new home in the PNW- which is how they found me!

Then, it was Peter’s turn to take the leap and ask Sally a very big question in one of their favorite places: the beach. He kept things simple and sweet as he asked her to spend forever with him and of course they celebrated with oysters and champagne which is the only way to celebrate in the PNW!

And just like their love story, Sally and Peter’s wedding day was simple, sweet and picture perfect to the life they’ve built together, weaving thier story throughout the day and incorporating elements that were special to them. It was such a joy getting to be there and capture it all!
